A beautiful, spacious family house with ‘quirk’…
The owners had tastefully renovated and redecorated their Islington house. However, the mid section on the ground floor, between the lounge and the kitchen extension, was not used to its full potential. They asked us to work on the ground floor layout and to inject a dose of quirkiness to this part of the house interior. This was achieved by making the kitchen extension the main living and chilling place and moving the dining area into the mid section.
The style of the property is a careful blend of contemporary and more traditional pieces. The idea was therefore to maintain the continuity with the rest of the house, but while injecting some ‘quirk’, like the Melt pendant light and the fabulous wallpaper.
